all about this 90 day challenge.......
who i am and what i'm doing.......
i have been a smoker for over 20 years, before that i grew up in a home with 2 smokers........ i've tried numerous times to quit and have never been successful for longer than 5 weeks........ my husband even managed to quit in October of 2013......... another thing that i feel needs to be looked at as i start all these changes is the fact that many of my food and drink choices are just awful........ i drink too many sodas, love my energy drinks and live on junk food........ it's been that way for quite some time, at least since i've been in charge of preparing my own meals.......... i'm looking at many of my choices and setting out to fix more than one bad habit, that's why i'm going into this knowing that i'm going to have bad days and am putting tools in place this time to get me over this hill and bring me to the other side, the non-smoker who saves thousands of dollars in the future......i keep finding myself feeling like i really am writing the next chapter right now, making huge changes and finally conquering bad habits and replacing them with new ones. during this 90 day challenge i plan to honestly keep track of how many times i have a craving, how often i take It's Vital minerals, if i cave and actually smoke, what time of day am i more prone to the cravings and what other methods i'm using to overcome the craving........ i know i have some friends who are gearing up to join me to quit........
new moon / eclipse
i have chosen my quit date in conjunction with the new moon and solar eclipse......... like any new moon, a solar eclipse represents the end of one cycle and the beginning of a new one......... it means all possibilities are on the table and you can rightly put yourself in the forefront of new plans for the future......
it's vital and greens........
becoming healthy is really the motivating factor for all these changes........ my husband is diabetic, my children are developing our eating habits and i know that we all need the changes......... i've already began using greens and can tell a huge difference in my physical health......... i have more energy and don't feel sluggish....... i fix one first thing in the morning, replacing my monster energy with it works chocolate greens blend and some days i have another in the afternoon to keep me going........... the taste is amazing (if you like chocolate) and i'm getting a boost of 34 different varieties of fruits and vegetables......... greens are full of not only alkalizing benefits, but high in potassium and magnesium which are important to get balanced to keep an overly toxic body (like mine)from releasing the calcium and magnesium from my bones leaving me with some serious deficiencies............. adding it's vital minerals once an hour in the beginning will give me that hourly boost of vitamins, antioxidants and phytonutrients.......... this hourly boost is to replace that nicotine craving with the new craving for those vital elements......... turning the nicotine habit into a craving for that healthy boost........... removing toxins and replacing the habit........ some folks can sit down and do math in their heads, some of us can't....... that's why i'm putting these 2 tools into place to aid in quitting cigarettes...........

my ultimate goal is to of course quit smoking......... 21 days to create a habit / 90 days to start a lifestyle......... i will be collecting true data for the 90 days beginning august 21 in order to stay accountable and show myself just how far i've come......... over the next week or so i am going to be collecting data about how much i currently smoke, how much water i am drinking and to figure out when my biggest cravings are.......... i encourage you to join me with or without taking the supplements, but if you are interested, i would be glad to help you with that......... happy to answer any questions or send ingredient information so you may consult with your own physician......... i also feel it's important to say that i am doing this to help inspire others to quit or to encourage them stay on the path........ 90 days in the grand scheme of things isn't much time at all, i've devoted too many years to smoking and am ready to become smoke free for the next 20!
